This is a beautiful site, which is serving to motivate me more and more. We were staying about 100 km from Nice and took the Chemin de fer du Provence for a day trip to Nice.Spent an enjoyable day sightseeing,had a pleasant meal and walked around the flea market.Unfortunatly,some thieving bastard stole the purse from my wife's handbag (money,credit cards etc and ruined an otherwise lovely day.hey! this could happen anywhere.

After coming back from Nice, it was nice to see people who bathed and brushed their teeth regularly. Nice is a filthy dump, with a beach full of rocks. Most of the city smells like human waste, maybe because you see a lot of waste in the strewets - but it might be dogs and cats. Went to the Negressco - high priced mediocrity. French people continue to think their shit is ice cream. In fact, French shit stinks the worst. Funny, don't blame this on an American opinion, I'm not American, but unfortunately a French citizen. Save your money and vacation elsewhere - do not come to filthy Nice.

I went to France for the month of June 2003 and I fell in love with the city of Nice. The first place I went was to the ocean. What a view. Your photos are great, but they just don't do true justice to the beauty of Nice. Especially Old Nice. I came home more enlightened of the beauty of the world and the hospitality and cordiality of the nations of the world. I am going to come back someday soon.

Hi I just love your site, i have been to Nice 2 weeks ago.. I looked this site up before i went and just couldnt wait to go.. Nice is such a wonderful place, but it is not child friendly, when we went for some thing to eat they never had a child menu. My childern ate chips and not a thing else for 2 weeks. I was dissapointed with that. I was also shocked at the price of eating out, Dublin is not a cheap place to live or eat out but Nice was SHOCKING!!I found the people very rude and unhelpful there driving was frightening it seemed a red light meant nothing to some of them. We found Monaco on the day 3 and we got the train every day to Monaco it was so different i know you will find this hard to beleive but the price of things was more like Dublin the people were lovely it was just a whole different ball game...I will be going back to nice soon a friend of mine owns an apartment there so i will be back it is a lovely City but i will be better prepared this time......

I'm going to be going to Nice in Sept. of 2004 for twelve weeks to go to a language school there. This site has amazing pictures, so I can't wait to go!!! People I know who have gone to France said the people weren't always nice to them, but it sounds like the people in Nice are fantastic!
