You have just entered a javascript application which creates LSystem based organo-fractal forms through VRML. Using the animation of VRML 2.0 you can easily bring your own creations to life.
This application is best viewed with Netscape Navigator and the Live 3D plugin that comes with version 3.01 or higher.
The VRML 2.0 option is compatible with SGI Cosmo player (original SGI blend or the new Live 3D blend coming with 4.0 PR4).
The screen layout is optimized for 800x600 in thousands of colors.
Screen layout:
- on the left is the table of contents
- the main viewing area where this text is displayed will display VRML genereated by the javascript Lsystem parser
- you can input values to the LSystem parser in the bottom frame.
Getting started
If you are not familiar with Lsystems, you may want to read more about LSytems.
Most of your actions will take place in the bottom frame where you can input your own Lsystem strings and generate a VRML 1.0 or VRML 2.0 model out of it.
Clicking on a preset will enter preset values for you. You need to click on one of the VRML button to view it
Note that processing complex/recursive LSystems may take a while, so increase iterations carefully and be patient. A pentium or better system is recommended. More in the Help
